这两年来，自己主要的精力就在研究博客。就像人的成长过程一样，任何新技术和新应用都需要经过创新期、成长期、成熟期前期、成熟期晚期等阶段，现在的博客应用当然还处于最早的创新期，但是已经开始逼近成长期。
主要探索潜在的规律，如何将博客应用从少数爱好者的兴趣，变成主流群体真正喜爱的实际应用。我想核心的问题在于博客世界的激励机制和筛选机制。这是博客世界今后几年能否走向主流的关键问题。已经有了很多有意思的发现，今后我会慢慢发表出来。
激励机制中核心的问题当然是名和利的问题。从个人兴趣，到无形的社会资本到非常功利的金钱利益等，都将从不同角度、不同层面，涉及博客世界的不同群体。毕竟，林子大了，什么鸟都要容纳。从爱好者群体到主流群体，必然是一个更实用，更现实，更功利的演变过程。
最近我在研究博客世界的排名问题，包括博客世界比较全面的排名、评奖、互相链接、彼此推荐等，以及博客网站内部的热门排行、精选排行等等，这个排名奥妙无穷。
当然，今天就点到为止，不写什么严肃的内容。下面推荐几个有意思的排名榜。

blogstreet.com的博客排名虽然影响不大，但是也算有特色，它的排行榜主要有两个：一个是最热门的博客排行榜（popular Blogs），以博客世界给它的链接数量多少排座论次；一个是最具影响力的博客排行榜（Influential Blogs），也同样按照链接数量，但是加入了链接网站的权重，这有点接近Google的网页排名方式。
